Family Programs:
First Friends
First Friends is designed to enhance the parent-child relationship while allowing children and parents to meet others. Features activities such as crafts, songs, YMCA character values, and field trips.

Times: Mon & Weds, 9-10AM (1-2 Y.O.), 10-11AM (2+ Y.O.)
Fee: $45 per 6 week session
Adventure Guides:
The Y-Adventure Guides is to provide quality time for busy parents and their children through enjoyable and constructive activities. It allows you and your growing child to focus on one another, build new relationships and meet new friends, and teach and learn the values of life.
In Y-Adventure Guides, groups of six to ten parent/child pairs meet twice monthly for club activities, crafts, games or projects based on the themes of Family, Nature, Community, and Fun. All clubs participate in montly special events.
New Adventure Clubs now forming for:
Y-Discoverers: Dads and Preschoolers (ages 3-5)
Y-Trekkers: Dads and daughters (ages 5-10)
Y-Explorers: Dads and sons (ages 5-10)
Y-Pioneers: Moms & Child
Y-Voyagers: Grandparents & Grandchild
Financial Assistance:
Financial Assistance is available to assist families who qualify in managing the cost of program fees. Applications can be obtained from all West End YMCA branches.
